What's New




*2018 MEETING TIME HAS CHANGED

Starting in 2018, the new meeting time for monthly meetings will be 7:00pm.
Meetings will still be held at Bel-Air Banquet Hall.  The hall will open at 6:00pm.
Dinner will be served from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.

FEBRUARY 2018 ACTIVITIES



2/23 (Fri)  Melodrama @ Sokal Hall (13th & Martha St):  
Need 20-25 CCC volunteers to serve popcorn/refreshments before, after and during intermission of the melodrama.  You can watch the play when not serving & enjoy the popcorn & beverages - it's an amazing, fun time!
Dress code:  black pants and white shirts (white club shirt is okay). Parking is available on 13th Street or in the Burger King parking lot.  Volunteers meet in the bar area (north side of building) and you can stay for a free dinner after the play.

MARCH 2018 ACTIVITIES


3/3 (Saturday) West Region Banquet at Field Club of Omaha (3615 Woolworth Ave)
  • Cash bar 2pm-3pm. Luncheon Buffet 3pm. Awards following.
  • Cost is $25.00 per person; reservations to be made by 2/24 to Kathy Gau, 10409 S 36th St, Omaha, NE 68005.

3/10 (Saturday) St Patrick’s Day Parade (downtown Omaha)

3/15 (Thursday) General meeting, Bel-Air Banquet Hall (dinner starts 6pm, meeting 7–8pm, social 8-9pm)

**REMINDER" to bring the following donation items to our CCC General Meetings:

Non perishable food donations for Sienna Francis House (Jerry Koraleski)
Toiletries for Mohm's & other Homeless Shelters (Kathy Brisbois)
NO newspapers for HUA (JB) for the next few months.  JB will resume taking newspapers In November!

  • Tuesday nights, ongoing thru?? – Car show at Smitty’s Garage (CCC Contributor):  7610 Dodge St:  Starts at 5pm, bring your “sweet rides” from 5-10pm and get 10% off food & they’ll have awesome drink specials & great burgers.
 
  • Friday nights, Starts April 21st thru October 27th – Car show at Don & Millie’s:  144th & Harrison:  Anytime after 5pm & driving a show car will get you up to two ½ price meal tickets
 
  • 4th Friday of each month – May thru August – Cruz Nite at We’ll Smoke U BBQ:  11773 S HWY 6, Gretna, NE
      Cruzer specials and Wheelin ‘N Dealin band (one of our new contributors) plays outside on the patio
